Americans feeling labor disarray?
A survey conducted by Ajilon Professional Staffing showed that only 25% of those polled felt the job market was improving. These results came as a surprise to Michael Parbs, Senior Vice President of Ajilon’s Mid-Atlantic Regional office. “There is a lot of real positive news out there, yet when you survey people, 25 percent of American workers feel that the job market is bad. It’s very much a pessimistic attitude, and that is the surprise.”

What do working dads want? A little more time for family.
A majority of Americans believe it’s harder for fathers to maintain a balance between work and home than it is for mothers. According to a survey by Ajilon Office, a division of Ajilon Professional staffing, 55% of men polled and 63% of women agree that balancing work with their home life is the same or more difficult than it was five years ago. “Men are less likely to discuss work-life issues because they don’t want to seem less career oriented or driven,” according to Neil Lebovits, president and COO of Ajilon Professional Staffing.
