Saddle Brook, NJ (April 25, 2005) – Ajilon Finance and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) have announced the launch of the 2005 AICPA Business & Industry Hall of Fame Awards program. This is the 7th year running for this prestigious honor for CPA financial professionals - an exclusive designation bestowed upon several exemplary individuals at the AICPA's annual Fall Business & Industry Financial Executive Forum.
The AICPA Business & Industry Hall of Fame honors CPAs who demonstrate strong business ethics, lead by example and commitment, provide insight and vision using knowledge of broad business issues, and inspire and motivate others to excellence. Hall of Fame candidates understand business beyond the numbers to effectively manage shareholder and customer expectations within their organizations to meet the challenges of today's dynamic market conditions.
Accounting and financial staffing firm Ajilon Finance has been the exclusive sponsor of the Hall of Fame Awards program since the campaign's inception in 1999. “Being in the business of connecting outstanding CPAs with leading companies, it's a natural fit for us to help recognize the achievements of top financial professionals while helping to promote the CPA profession as a whole,” said Neil S. Lebovits, CPA, president and COO of Ajilon Finance.
In years past a number of top executives from leading companies across the United States have been inducted into the Business & Industry Hall of Fame.
“We're extremely excited to again be partnering with Ajilon Finance to help promote this prestigious award,” said John F. Morrow, CPA, AICPA vice president - The New Finance. “We're encouraging individuals to nominate their bosses and colleagues that have proven to be skilled practitioners and that embody the core characteristics of today's CPA.”
If you know a deserving CPA, nominate them online at aicpa.org/halloffame or contact your local Ajilon Finance branch at 1.866 GO AJILON or visit ajilonfinance.com for a nomination form or additional information. Deadline for nominations is August 31, 2005. The induction ceremony will take place at this year's AICPA Fall Business & Industry Financial Executive Forum in New York City on Friday, October 28.
